And Tonight. He dies.
and tonight
what you’re about to witness
is something more amazing
more beautiful
and more painful than anything he has done before
tonight is the end of the MaksedPoet
but when before you get excited
let me explain
this is no ordinary death
and no this isn’t a suicide note
it is the death of the way he used to be
and the death of the way he is addicted to being
this death is something beautiful that is and always will be
the beginning of his meaning
what you are about to witness
is not the wiping away of the past
because the past is still there and isn’t going anywhere
but to change the tomorrow because tomorrow?
it can be ANYTHING
and he has now come to realize this
he has come to understand the necessity of this
and the need for greatness and change and life
and above all purpose.
this is what we should strive for
this is what we should aim for
today and tomorrow.
and the day after and forever
the beginning of everything that can and will be
and the end of a life you no longer can see
you must understand one thing
this man has changed the way he sings
and the way he would write
he used to write of hate,
anger and anything of the like.
he took what he thought he was
and accepted it and never changed
he took what he thought he was
and accepted a lie
so look at his man
and the person who he used to be
are they the same?
is he the same as he was?
is he as dark as he was?
is he as angry and hateful as he is now?
no, but it’s still there. it hasn’t left.
but he has overcome it.
So as a witness here tonight.
as a witness of the change that
is about to change this person
forever.
as a witness here tonight,
are you willing to do the following
support this new man
and help him kill,
help him hang,
help him shoot,
help him stab,
help him destroy his old self.
because tonight
it all changes, from here on out.
you will see the outwardly expression
of the change from within.
there goes the car
that is carrying TheMaskedPoet
that is carrying PoeticHypocrite
it’s driving too fast to be stopped now.
because they are the drivers
and this new man has glued their feet to the gas
this new man has a new name
one that represents the following
a new meaning
a new life
new thoughts
new poetry
new outlook of life
join this new man
killing his old man
with #AndTonightHeDies
I have found purpose.
and i think i’ll keep it.

perfect.
And seriously your timing is perfect. This goes perfectly along with the theme God has been teaching me. The book of Galatians (which I read the other day) is all about dying to our old self and going forth with the new. Its been incredible to learn that I dont have to live as I was. Its freeing.
