and the rest of me turns blue

im terrified of people

im terrified of me

ive tortured myself over again

so instead, i climb trees

i climb sappy pines

ones that are big and round

ive climbed 60+ feet

just so i can get up off the ground

the ground is where my fear resides

though i love pizza and cats

i love the sky more

but im too afraid of the rats

so i climb as far as i can

where nothing but air can get me

i look down to see where i could fall
