its a simple sign we create to feel accepted but as soon as i share it i already feel rejected
this is for the ones who build the best in the dark draw a picture/write some words to accommodate our broken hearts

its healthy and its real its you and its me im writing at four am trying to make believe like we did when we were young we were anything we wanted stories of ferries, kings and spies now we spend our nights feeling haunted
what happened to that kid i was? i wonder where i went.. i wonder if i'll find him again or if hes something to forget
now im told to pay loans and work
and waste my life following their plans
forget my imagination and creations to grow up and be a man
but i just want to be that six year old running around trying to save the world
with my cape and my toy sword
rushing before dinner to save the girl
why do i only create when dark times come rolling around? stare me in the eyes for an answer but i'll lift my hands to the same old sound
learn to be six again you could learn from that you imagine, create and inspire hopefully others will follow too
because we need this we need it now more than ever dream, live! and encourage LIFE we'll make it out.. if we create together...
