This is for you.

we look to scene one
the battle has begun
it is the war against herself.
it’s way too much for oneself

your thoughts
verse your heart
and what you know is right
lose your mind, you just might.

on the left side
we see demons that used to hide
in her locker
where they would mock her

but now, they’re not hiding
they are deciding
to torture her.

yelling and screaming their names at her
‘worthless!’ ‘pathetic!’ ‘fat!’ look in the mirror!
they screamed in the day and the night
‘you’re ours now, be careful we bite’

she asked for help
she cried and and screamed
‘please help save me!’
but no one could see

she was too far gone
the fears no longer off and on
they stuck all day
she never meant to fade away

it was ‘her’ fault  this was happening
her thoughts strangling
her mind

now theres blood dripping from her arm to the floor
this didn’t use to be her before
she’s lost all hope
she uses the pain to cope

but no, thats not enough for her.
she needs to feel, it turns to anger
she isolates herself from friends and family

those voices haven’t left yet
and i’ll bet
they won’t be leaving soon
they’ve made her mind into a cocoon

the mother does the best
for her daughter that’s depressed

she does what she can and all
but she doesn’t understand
she’ll never unsee what she saw
with blood on a knife in her little girls hand

she prays at her bedside
because she remembers
how the little girls father died
this same path, in 2003 the 23rd of December

“you’re worthless” “you’re pathetic”
she starting to believe these thoughts to be prophetic
“you’re fat & you’ll never be enough”
they tell her, you can’t handle this stuff

“go away” “no one wants you”
she thinks it to be true
all up to the moment of truth

with a bottle of pills
dumped out onto her hand
she hopes the pills will kill
but all of a sudden she hears a band

can this really be?
that they are afraid like me?
they know my fears
she couldn't see from all of the tears

they are saying its okay to be sick
the piano man
and the one with the sticks

someone finally understood
they said to stay alive
now she knew she could

lets go back to her mind
the devilish thoughts still there
but now there is a new kind

on the left side we see demons
but on the right we see angels
fighting for her legiance

the thoughts aren’t gone
but God heard her
and her mother’s prayers
because now she has someone to count on

God sent these two men
he knew their destiny
one exceptional good with a pen
the other hits the drums like weaponry
for us and our minds

to whom this may concern
i know, the thoughts burn
but now it’s your turn
to take what you know and have learned

on the right side of the mind
the angels of good thoughts are fighting
for you against what we know as our demon kind
and for this reason I’m writing

for this reason i’m alive
and for this reason
i am still try-ing

It is worth it.
because you are worth it
so promise me
that you will stay and see

all the amazing things you can do
you may not believe it,
but it’s true

there is this thing
called the skeleton clique
we all know our brains are sick

but that's Økay

  2. I loved this one. How it was a reference to Tyler and Josh helping. I know how much you love them. I love them too. But I also love you. I miss you. I hope you're okay.
